Are you brokers or a real estate agency?

NO! - We are an on-line directory of Real Estate offices and their listings. Brokers provide far greater services than a web site. Real Estate brokers provide valuable services for a fair, negotiated fee. In particular:
  • are licensed in the states they serve.
  • are governed by laws in the state they serve
  • insulate both Tenant & Landlord from direct contact

Additionally, most (but not all) brokers/agents are also Realtors® identified by the Realtor® logo when they are also members of the National Association of Realtors® and abide by its strict Code of Ethics.

Our site strongly suggests that you work with a Realtor when and where possible!

Are there state sites that allow me to check on an Agent/Brokers license or status?

Yes!

Most states require licensing of real estate brokers and agents. Additionally, most states allow you to check the status of a license. States where we've found license lookup are (Note! links open in new window):

  • Rhode Island and Wyoming use a PDF file format.
  • Utah uses an XLS (excel) file format.
  • Nevada's lookup link is 'coming soon'.

How can I get listed in this directory?

To get listed in this directory you need:
  • to be a licensed broker with a physical office location.
  • Company Name
  • Contact Name
  • Contact Phone number
  • Contact Email
  • Complete Contact Address
  • homepage link
  • geographic service area updates and changes to our site(s).

Additionally, we strongly encourage that you provide a link to the governing agency of your real estate license so that visitors can verify your license and its status.

    • Paid listing ($99.00/year) ABOVE plus web site link.
    • Premium listing ($199.00/year) ABOVE plus links for sale/rental listings, open houses and agent directory.
Note! - all paid memberships run the calendar year of January 1st to December, 31st.

How does a prospective client contact me?

Company information of address and phone number is displayed on every listing. Additionally, links to exact property listings are displayed on XML feeds. Email addresses are not displayed to prevent spamming of your account.

Why doesn't my email show on my listing?

Your email address is not displayed on your listing to prevent unsolicited email (ie. spam). A email dialog box is displayed on your listing and this program will send tenant request directly to you. We do NOT monitor your request.

Can I adjust my listing's map location?

Yes, you can adjust your listing's map location by dragging the map to mark your company's exact location.

Can I link to my company's home page?

Yes! Paid membership allows a link to your homepage. Additionally, premium membership allows links to:
  • sale/rental listings
  • open houses
  • agent directory

Will my listing get indexed by the search engines?

It should. Our site gets documented indexing by search engines!

Can I add my listings as a link?

Premium subscribers can add a link to an XML file for sales/rental listings and agent directories. This feature allows you to overlay your listing and company contact information on a google map.

Note! - XML files are pulled and cached once per day after the first request.

Our XML file format is:

Where:

  • All XML files begin with <markers>
  • All XML files end with </markers>
  • All XML entries begin with <marker>
  • All XML entries end with </marker>
  • All XML tags are lowercase!

Sale Listing Fields:

  • name - description/address of the listing
  • lat - latitude ...
  • lng - longitude ...
  • price - price
  • beds - bedrooms
  • baths - bathrooms
  • url - url
  • type - sale
  • ptype - property type ie: Single, Condo, Land, ...
  • code - unique office code for the listing
  • acode - unique office agent code for the listing
  • status - status ie: Active, Pending, Reduced
Note - if lat/lng are empty, listing will not be placed on map.

Rental Listing Fields:

  • name - description/address of the listing
  • lat - latitude ...
  • lng - longitude ...
  • price - price
  • low - low price (if a range)
  • high - high price (if a range)
  • beds - bedrooms
  • baths - bathrooms
  • url - url
  • type - rent
  • ptype - property type ie: Single, Condo, Land, ...
  • code - unique office code for the listing
  • acode - unique office agent code for the listing
Note - if lat/lng are empty, listing will not be placed on map.

Agent Directory Fields:

  • name - name of agent
  • acode - unique office agent code for the listing
  • phone1 - contact phone 1
  • phone2 - contact phone 2
  • type - type ie. agent/broker
  • designation - any designations/certifications ie. GRI,...
  • url - url
  • email - email of agent
  • image - url of image
  • imagewidth - width of image
  • imageheight - height of image
Note - image width/height should be 200 X 300 -.

The keyword searching feature uses 'fulltext' searching on a combination of the company name and city field. For example:
